These are my 5 grandchildren. Three of them live far away on an island in the Pacific. Our families met up together in March last year in Fiji so I had the pure joy of hanging out with them. It was wild at times because they were all under the age of 4. And I was smiling the entire time. Even now I smile, thinking about that trip.
Lucky, lucky me. Had I not planned or anticipated this trip, it would not have happened. But I found a way because it was super important to me to be around these 5 cuties.
What I want to ask you is, what fun things do you have planned for yourself this year? What are you planning that will bring you joy?
For me, I’m planning on lots of travel and keeping things simpler, spending more time enjoying the people I love.
And being less frenetic than last year.
I was so hyper focused on getting my Ageless Wisdom and Passion online retreat launched, that by the end of the year, I was exhausted, depleted, and wiped out. I pushed myself way too hard.
I came to a grinding halt at the end of the year. I was very proud but worn out.
This year I want to choose a different way.
I want to be more like my 2 granddaughters who have fun together... they laugh a lot and play. I imagine they will grow up to really support each other.
But without a plan or intention, I know that my 2019 is not going to happen the way I want. I will go back to default mode of pushing too hard.
I need a coach, a support system, a group of people for ideas and accountability. And I want that for you, too.
I thought about it and I came up with 3 things you can do:
If you'd like a very fun additional way to be intentional about your year and make it your best one, then join us this Sunday, January 6.

Here's what my good friend and coach, Helene Van Manen, said about my retreat:
"Jo Hatcher’s Best Year Ever will open insights and inspiration to guide your year. Jo is an expert at asking the right questions and unlocking the dream within you that will make a difference and how you move into 2019. I took the class last Sunday and the format, the group of women, the exercises, the questions we journaled on gave me so much value in crafting both my business and personal life going forward. Take this class if you want to do something really nurturing for yourself."
